Vertical Engineering

A neuralgic point in engineering lies in the interface between automation and control level. Various products, responsibilities and complex data models lead to a higher effort, which can cause more errors rates in larger projects and therefore costs could highly increase.

FlowChief Vertical Engineering enables an automated generation based on standardized object types. This is how it's possible to create the entire data model with just one click and assign device and controller information with FlowChief parameters.

The base of vertical engineering in the FlowChief system are xml files, which define objects or provide additional information for an automatic parametrization. Hence, the data model is not parameterised, it' entirely generated, which makes it easy to create new plant components in seconds. Afterwards, visualization objects can be added by Drag & Drop into the process image and can be duplicated as often as required.
