Plantexplorer

The Plantexplorer is the central configuration screen of FlowChief. This is were the structure is defined and engineering takes place.

All available Process Items and Files can be arranged individually to folders in the Plant Tree. Each folder can receive individual user and access rights (see Access Rights Management). This is how the organizational structure can be reproduced within FlowChief. Also alerting is performed in the Plantexplorer by indicating Message Templates to quickly see where errors occur within the plant.

Folders are the equivalent of lager areas of the plant, therefor sub-folders are subordinated parts the according part.

A folder represents a large part of the plant, sub-folders therefore are subordinate sections.

The entire plant can be operated, controlled and monitored - even without a visualization image. Hence, the Plantexplorer displays all meter values, sets off all commands and recognizes all alerts (Message and Alerting Platform) and their confirmations and also manages all documents (Document Management). The Plantexplorer contains all functionalities that are necessary to control and administrate the plant.
