Operating Models

FlowChief supports various methods for the provisioning of software. Not only a local installation of the software is provided, but also hosting services and a variety of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions from secure data centers. This is how we enable operators and companies a high level of flexibility for the fullfilment of requiremnts towards security, service and investments.

• Local Installation:

  • The FlowChief system is installed and operated on an internal server of the company

  • Operators have full control over hard- and software and the linked data

  • The software can be purchased or leased. Patches will be provided. Updates can be purchased individually or within a Service-Level-Agreement (SLA).

  • Benefits:

    • High level of flexibilty and control by operating the infrastructur individually

    • Operation within the own infrastructure which is suitable for critical infrastructure (KRITIS)

    • Depending on the requirements of the project access to single or regular invoicing is provided

• Hosting:

  • The FlowChief system is provided on certified data center infrastructure

  • Engineering can be performed by the customer, service provider or the FlowChief GmbH

  • Hard- and software are operated and monitored by the FlowChief GmbH

  • The service is billed monthly or annual

  • Benefits:

    • Low investment costs and no / little expenses for personal IT

    • Secure software through monitoring by FlowChief GmbH

    • Always up-to-date software versions

• Cloud:

  • FlowChief services will be provided entirely configured via internet

  • The service is operated from a certified German data center
