OPC UA is the industry 4.0 standard and guarantees a simple, secure and device independent communication of PLC's, SCADA and operational level. OPC UA enables an versatile architecture. Systems can be cascaded individually. This provides many benefits, such as: automatic configuration, matching of archive data or integrated security mechanisms.
